Sport Starz is a proposed sports collector card brand. The physical cards would be distributed in Australian retail stores, where patrons receive three cards for $30 spent. The QR code on the back of the card leads you to EyeJack, allowing you to view the card in a digital format and plays an AR animation of the sports player. The Sport Starz app would include a built-in QR scanner, collector’s log, minigames (check out the Behance page!) and personal profile.
Watch your Cardz come to life…
Rather than work against technology, Sport Starz has developed cards in the physical world, that can also be found in the digital. When scanned, the cards come alive.
AR encourages children to physically engage with Sport Starz content. Content which inspires them into sports, maybe the sport their card shows…
Sport Starz showcases players from around the world.
Australian children come from a variety of backgrounds, therefore, engaging with their home country’s players could spark greater sports and cultural appreciation.
The QR code on the back of the card downloads the individual card animation. When flipped, the user can see the card come to life.
