Recognising the talent and effort of emerging generations of comic artists and graphic novelists is the primary initiative of Aether Comics Publishing, providing aspiring creators with both a physical and digital platform to help present their work to diverse audiences, despite the probability of their work fitting into mainstream media.
Seeking to provide a platform for upcoming graphic novelists and comic artists, Aether Comics Publishing allows users and creators to showcase their work to audiences worldwide through physical and digital mediums. Regardless of whether a story has the potential to become mainstream media, Aether Comics Publishing values its clients’ work based on the quality of its artistry and writing, not on its mainstream appeal.
Presenting the Interactive Pilot Zine, a promotional product designed to highlight any upcoming graphic novels or series, outlining the synopsis and including sneak peeks to gain interest amongst audiences. The purpose of this first issue is to showcase three different series that are indicative of the types of stories that Aether Comics Publishing would aim to produce and publish. Although the comics appear textless at first, if you open the EyeJack app on your smartphone device and scan the respective QR codes, you can bring the three mini-comics to life.
To further establish the brand identity of Aether Comics Publishing, a collage has been provided below, featuring the brand logo, typography, colour scheme, and patterns. Moreover, a proof-of-concept image for the Aether Reader App has also been supplied. This app would allow users to register their physical purchases to their Aether Comics account, allowing them to receive a free digital copy of their graphic novels and comics.
