Monsterra appeals to those who crave the chaos and serenity of being on the move, experiencing life as it passes by and expressing their emotions and creativity through the medium of music. Monsterra is releasing their first portable DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) and wants the roll out to come with a bang!

Music is a universal language that everyone with the ability to hear can speak (Kocay, 2024). It is a language that invokes involuntary movement, and vivid emotional responses. Music has long been an avenue for self-expression and a shaper of cultural, emotional, political and social alignments (Yellowbrick, 2021). This is most prevalent in the creators of the music we listen to. We resonate with their stories, emotions and presence. Music creation is often confined to studio walls and soundproof rooms, sat behind a computer. However, I believe that music production can be more than a creative practice, but rather, a form of meditative reflection, an avenue for the flow state and a place of solitude. This project aims to create a brand identity and product that caters to the traveller, an individual without a studio, with a desire to explore everything the world has to offer, giving them an opportunity to create music and document their emotions and interests from any corner of the world. The Monsterra Nomad is a portable DAW that includes an integrated speaker system, multi-function touchbar, a 5 channel mixer, hardened glass display, innovative multi directional control knobs, a 2 octave keyboard, a haptic pitch bender, and hooks for functionality. The Nomad is perfect for an on the go individual with a 36 active hour, USB-C charged, battery life, Bluetooth connectivity and an in-built field recording microphone.

Jarrett is currently a student at the Queensland University of Technology. In his final year of a bachelor's degree of Visual Communication, Jarrett looks to impress with the fidelity of his work. He specialises in Brand Identity, 3D Modelling, Logo Design, and Illustration.
