Project statement

Tiffany’s Tea House was created for tea and book lovers to connect two communities that work so well together. The book boxes bring an aesthetic yet organised element to your kitchen so you can bring forth your own signature style.

The boxes were also created with sustainability in mind. The current tea industry is still working towards 100% sustainable packaging so Tiffany’s Tea House is looking to new ideas such as using beeswax pouches to remove the need for plastic bags and coated tea bag tags. We are all working towards a healthier future, for our planet, our communities, and our mental wellbeing.

Quirky and collectable interior design pieces are a thriving design trend (Taylor, 2024), especially with Generation Z who are at the stage of moving out of home (Whiting & Beaumont, 2024), which the brand: Tiffany’s Tea House, hopes to capitalise on. This product aligns with “trends with a tale”, connecting two beloved hobbies: reading and drinking tea to add a quiet luxury to your home (Wiseman, 2024). Each pattern has been designed by hand and brought to life with a digital interaction through AR to complete the storytelling aspect of the design and to explore upcoming digital design trends.

Brand Identity

The name “Tiffany’s Tea House” plays on alliteration of the letter ‘T’ and is a nod to the creator of the brand. The logo is designed to replicate the sense of regal-ness that Twinings and other traditional tea companies have but also to align with the quiet luxury trend. Three regal patterns are complimented with two tea leaves surrounding the letter T.

Feel the warmth, beauty and nature of Australia reflected through Tiffany’s Tea House’s brand colour palette. Using sage green to symbolise peace, wisdom and nature as featured in the Chamomile Pattern. Rust to portray warmth and humanity as English Breakfast has provided warmth to generations. And Terracotta to give a sense of comfort and connect to the Earth as Earl Grey uses fruit from the earth to enhance its taste.

Each pattern was designed by hand and created in Adobe Illustrator.
